Red Tea was a traditional drink of the indigenous inhabitants of the Western Cape in South Africa. The locals harvested the wild rooibos plants and produced tea that is now enjoyed worldwide for its many uses and benefits. Red tea is naturally caffeine free and is delicious hot or iced. Rooibos is the main ingredient in our Red Tea Raspberry. Studies show that rooibos contains natural powerful antioxidants, some stronger antioxidants than found in black tea, along with trace elements. Red Tea also contains flavanoids and Super Oxide Dismutase (SOD), antioxidants that help protect the body against free radicals, molecules which weaken the body's natural defense system against aging.
