Concha Y Toro Cabernet Sauvignon, D.O. Puente Alto - Chile, 2009

This Cabernet Sauvignon Special Reserve was created in tribute to the title conferred in 1718 by King Felipe V of Spain upon the Concha y Toro family. Of a very limited production from our prime Puente Alto Vineyards in the Maipo Valley. This Cabernet Sauvignon embodies Conche y Toro's tradition in the art of winemaking. This Cabernet Sauvignon is made from our historic Puente Alto vineyards in the Andean foothills at 648 m above sea level. The limited production wine was aged in French oak for fourteen months. Striking morello cherry aromas and subtle fig flavors are synonymous with the Puento Alto terroir. The oak adds generous helpings of coffee and vanilla notes. Kind tannins contribute to its fine structure on the palate. Alc. 14% by vol. Produced and bottled in Chile by Vina Concha y Toro S.A. Product of Chile.
